The last couple of days have been hot and humid, so the last thing I want to do is have the oven on warming the kitchen for an hour. I still want to provide some sort of treat for my family to enjoy. About a month ago, I bought some of those popsicle molds from the supermarket. These ones have a straw on the side for when it is so hot the thing melts before you have a chance to eat it. So instead of buying those colored sugar water pops you can make your own fresh fruit popsicles. We’ve tried using fresh fruit juice, like orange, apple and pineapple juice. You can also make a fruit smoothie using frozen fruit and fruit juice. Yesterday, I threw some watermelon into the blender with some of its juices and pureed that for a watermelon popsicle. The possibilities are endless really.
