So, for the last few days I have been traveling an hour and a half away from home for a training class that is from 8am to 5pm for work. That’s about twelve hours total, leaving me very little time with my family at the end of the day. I definately haven’t had time to try any new recipes or make elaborate dinners (not that I usually make anything elaborate)
So in times like these a simple grilled nutella and banana sandwich does the trick. It’s very quick and easy yet delicious and nutritious. It’s more like a dessert than a sandwich. If you don’t have nutella on hand than peanut butter would also work, although the nutella has that chocolate flavor that goes so well with banana.
I use whole wheat bread, half of a banana and a couple tablespoons of nutella.
